The project centred on the “Bicicletta della Pace”, a symbolic bicycle that has travelled thousands of kilometres, visiting towns, institutions and sporting events to spread a simple yet powerful message: to promote peace and support children in need.

Thanks to the support of many companies and supporters, including Crono, the initiative raised over €30,000, all of which was used to purchase medical equipment for paediatric facilities. Specifically:

• Italy – Ospedale Maggiore della Carità, Novara
  Donation to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit: vital signs monitors and neonatal resuscitators.

• Ucraina – Western Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Medical Center, Leopoli
  Supply of medical equipment, including spirometers, electrocardiographs and endoscopy equipment.

Over the past three years, the project has reached significant symbolic and institutional milestones: from the journey to the European Parliament in Strasbourg to participation in national events dedicated to cycling and peace, spreading a message of solidarity in schools, town squares and sporting events.

It was an honour for Crono to contribute to an initiative that turned sport into a tangible act of solidarity.

Because cycling isn’t just about moving forward:
sometimes it means providing real help to those who need it most.
